| Las Vegas Motor Speedway Construction Update

Las Vegas Motor Speedway's Public Relations Department will be providing weekly construction updates as the speedway undergoes its multi-million dollar facelift, which will result in a new fan interactive garage area, a pit road closer to the grandstands, resurfaced and re-banked racing surface and state-of-the-art media center.
In the past week, construction crews have completed the following tasks:
- Completed all paving on the superspeedway.
- Restored approximately 80 percent of the SAFER barrier.
- Began internal construction of the new Busch Series garage.
- Started installation of the irrigation system for the tri-oval grass.
- Completed all infrastructure and underground work on the new media center.
- Began grading parts of the infield to make room for more camping spaces.
- Continued the widening of the entrance road to the vehicular tunnel.
