The O'Reilly 200 at Memphis Motorsports Park marks the second straight weekend Brad Keselowski has substituted as the driver of the 02 Sutton Motorsports Chevrolet. Driving for the recovering Kelly Sutton, Keselowski earned a career high 7th place qualifying position en route to a 16th place finish in the O'Reilly 200.
Managing to run in the top-10 for more than half the race, Keselowski was more than pleased. "To even be asked to help Kelly and the Sutton Motorsports team is really an honor. They continuously show me the utmost respect and confidence in my ability. I feel like during the last two weeks we have accomplished so much. Crew chief, Gary Showalter and I have really clicked and our performance has shown just that. I feel like this is the opportunity I've been waiting for in quality equipment and I'm very happy to be given the chance to be back racing."
Keselowski comments on his plans after Memphis; "As of now I will be coaching Kelly at IRP as I was before her unfortunate Kansas accident. I'm still actively pursuing driving roles in both the Truck, Busch and Arca series as well as some promising sponsorships. With the performance we've experienced over the last two weeks, my confidence and experience levels continue to grow along with the potential to combine my driving skills with a professional effort such as Sutton Motorsports into a successful force."
