Date of Birth: February 27, 1960 - Hometown: Newton, NC
Regarding the track: "Kentucky has really come into its own over the past couple of years. It takes a new speedway a few years to age and weather to become a good race track and Kentucky Speedway has become a great race track. There is plenty of room for side-by-side racing and under the lights the visibility is excellent. Since the beginning the facility itself has been first class. The garage area, pits, layout, etc, were really thought out very well."
Regarding the win in 2006: The win last year was very big for our team. We extended our point lead with the win and it came right in the middle of a great stretch for us last year. You know, we won at all kinds of tracks of various sizes last year and Kentucky was our 1.5 mile track win. I think we could have won the race regardless of the problem that the No. 10 truck had there at the end. We were catching him pretty fast and had quite a few laps to do it. Our qualifying effort was not that great, but we knew that we had hit on something good (setup) in the early part of the race. It was a special win for our team to rebound like that."

"Kentucky is another track on the schedule that is brand-new to me. I am going to be looking at some tapes and playing some video games to get a feel for the track. Of course, the real part will come in on Friday, when I will make my first laps around the race track. I will be leaning on my teammate, Dennis Setzer for help and guidance; he won the race last year, and has been good at this track in the past. I am hoping to have a good run in my Silverado on Saturday and give the whole Morgan-Dollar Motorsports team a boost for the upcoming races."
DRIVER: RON HORNADAY
TEAM: No. 33 Kevin Harvick, Inc. Silverado
Date of Birth: June 20, 1958 - Hometown: Palmdale, CA
"Kentucky is one of my all-time favorite places to race at. I have never won at Kentucky, and this will only be my second time racing here in the trucks. Last year we were able to leave Kentucky with a top-15 finish, but I hoping to pull off a win with the Kevin Harvick Inc. Silverado team. This part of the year is crucial, and bringing home top-ten's and especially top-fives is what we are looking to do."
DRIVER: ARIC ALMIROLA
TEAM: No. 75 Spears Manufacturing Silverado - Spears Motorsports
Date of Birth: March 14, 1984 - Hometown: Tampa, FL
"Kentucky is another track on the list of many that I have never raced at before. I will definitely be reviewing and watching old tapes of past races there this week, and will be playing plenty of video games to get me prepared for when we get out on the track. It is tough having never been to the majority of these places, but getting laps under our belts is the only way that we are going to learn the race tracks and how to best get around them."
DRIVER: MATT CRAFTON
TEAM: No. 88 Menards/Energizer Silverado - ThorSport Racing
Date of Birth: June 11, 1976 - Hometown: Tulare, CA
"I am really excited to be racing in Kentucky this weekend. That is definitely one of my favorite race tracks we go to, and I am hoping to get our first win, and be able to capitalize on the consistency of this ThorSport Racing Silverado team. I love the mile and a half tracks, and I seem to run pretty good at them, so anytime we get to go to another one of those tracks, it is usually a good thing for me and the whole team. I think that those kinds of tracks really suit my driving style, and hopefully we can pull off a win this weekend."
DRIVER: KERRY EARNHARDT
TEAM: No. 13 National Pork Board Silverado - ThorSport Racing
Date of Birth: December 8, 1969 - Hometown: Kannapolis, NC
"I have been looking forward to heading to Kentucky for quite a while. We have a new truck coming back from our Texas wreck where it was really good, so I am excited about that. Kentucky has always been a favorite for me; I have a lot of laps there for DEI (Dale Earnhardt Inc.) with testing for them. I am just looking forward to getting back out there and hopefully having a good run for the team.'
DRIVER: MIKE BLISS
TEAM: No. 16 Xpress Motorsports Silverado
Date of Birth: April 5, 1965 - Hometown: Milwaukie, OR
"Kentucky is another track that I look forward to heading to each year. I know that the Xpress Motorsports team has run well there the past few years, and when I drove for the team in 2002, we ended up winning the race. I know it is one of the highest paying races on the schedule, so that would be a big boost and a great way to cap off the weekend. Hopefully we can come away from Kentucky with a victory, and bring that momentum onto Memphis the following week."
DRIVER: CHAD MCCUMBEE
TEAM: No. 08 U.S. Restoration Silverado - Green Light Racing
Date of Birth: October 15, 1984 - Hometown: Supply, NC
"I am really looking forward to Kentucky Speedway. I ran two ARCA races there in 2005 and qualified pretty well. We ran competitively until mechanical problems sidelined us in both races. I am excited to get there and have a good race in our Silverado. Things have been going pretty well for us and we need to keep the momentum rolling. Kentucky has a little less banking than some of the other mile and a half tracks, so I think we will probably slide the truck around more than the cars do.
