RON HORNADAY, No. 33 Kevin Harvick, Inc. Silverado, Qualified 1st - NOTE: THIS IS THE 13TH NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES CAREER POLE FOR HORNADAY, FIRST AT THE MILWAUKEE MILE. "A new track record! You know what, this team really deserves it, we unloaded this Silverado, and we tried to run this truck one other time this year, and it didn't fit the templates. They wet back to the shop and completely rebuilt this whole truck, and Wally (Rogers, crew chief) said that this is his favorite truck, that is why he stayed back to work on it. To unload and change nothing is a compliment to this whole crew. I want to thank Richard Childress, Kevin Harvick, and everybody, because they are giving us some technology that is just so awesome, and it really fits my driving style. It is the coolest thing to see this Silverado run this good, and I don't know if this lap is going to stand up or not, the track is going to get faster, but to run as fast as we did at Milwaukee, as old as this place is, and to come out and run this well is great."
JOHNNY SAUTER, No. 51 Bowen Family Homes Silverado, Qualified 3rd: "The truck felt good, it was loose, but we were loose in the qualifying run we made earlier, so I had them tighten it up. I am sure the race track is going to get cooler and tighten it up a little more for us. It is a good lap for us. I think we have an awesome race truck. It is good that any time you can go to one of your favorite race tracks and run well, it is always a blessing, especially when it is your home track. I am really looking forward to tonight."
ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 75 Spears Manufacturing Silverado, Qualified 5th: "I think our second one would have even been better but we will take this one. I am really proud of everyone on our Spears Silverado team. We didn't have a real good practice, we kept fighting and fighting to get it better and better. I think Dave (McCarty, crew chief) and the guys did a real good job with it. I think we have a good truck for tonight."
