Mike Bliss, No. 16, IWX Motor Freight Silverado, Qualified 15th, Finished 10th:
"The green white checkered finish didn't help. We were good on long runs. We were loose all night and we tightened it up enough there at the end and we were a little too tight. We were pretty good by ourselves; we didn't need that last caution. Things got bottled up there at the end and I got passed a couple of times. We lost track position early in the race when I made contact with Steve Park on pit road and we had to come back in check out the right front fender. Top-10 isn't bad, but Texas is just a tough place."

Dennis Setzer, No. 85 Shell Rotella T Silverado, Qualified 11th, Finished 6th:
"Man we just missed it a little bit tonight. Our Shell Rotella T Silverado was really loose early on in the race and just couldn't race with those guys there in the beginning. The guys made some adjustments on the stops and it got better and better and we were pretty good on that last run. I knew the fuel mileage was going to be close after the last stop because it was right on the line of our fuel window. So we tried to conserve fuel while at the same time tried to run down some trucks there at the end. We got to about sixth and were making a move for fifth and the truck developed a push off the corner. I think we lost a spot or two, then made one up. But overall its not a bad finish four our number eighty-five Shell Rotella team. I think we were the top truck with the type of set-up we were running under the chassis tonight."

Matt Crafton, No. 88 Menards/Energizer Silverado, Qualified 27th, Finished 12th:
"Not the night we wanted. We took four tires the first two stops and two on the last two. It was no one's fault; we just wore out the left front and had cords showing. We started slowing down, lost the lead pack and were just running horrible. We definitely had a top-five truck, without a doubt. We lost track position and if we wouldn't have had the tire problem, we would have been there. We just shot ourselves in the foot."

Ron Hornaday Jr., No. 33 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Silverado, Qualified 7th, Finished 15th:
NOTE: Hornaday was black flagged on lap 110 for the front valance dragging on the track. Hornaday went into the grass to avoid contact with another truck on a restart and damaged the valance.
"I had a great Silverado tonight, just had that lapper there in front of me and I had to get away from him, so I ran out in the grass, knocked the valance down and it sparked. I watched the 51 truck and others do it every race but they black-flagged us. Good come back for our team. Our Silverado was great all day. We broke the exhaust pipe and it vibrated real bad. I hate to see this for our KHI team. We have been going forward and we were going forward tonight."

Kraig Kinser, No. 46 CENTRIX Auto Finance Silverado, Qualified 3rd, Finished 36th
NOTE: On lap 55 Kinser made contact with another truck on restart. Both radiator and oil cooler were punctured, team made attempts to repair truck but was unable to make repairs and return to action.
"I am disappointed for Randy (Goss, crew chief) and everyone on the our team. We had a good truck and had a great qualifying effort but I spun the tires on the initial start and lost a lot of track position. I was just starting to get my rhythm when we had the contact. I was hoping to have a good run tonight but it just didn't work out for us."

Aric Almirola, #75 Spears Manufacturing Silverado, Qualified 8th, Finished 32nd
NOTE: Almirola cut down a right front tire and made contact with the turn three wall on lap 51. He spent 43 laps behind the wall while the crew replaced the lower control arm and other chassis components damaged in the incident.
"It wasn't a good night. We fought loose loose loose, then all of a sudden something put a hole in the tire and we cut down the right front and hit the wall pretty hard. We damaged our Spears Silverado and it was a long night after that. Dave (McCarty, crew chief) and the guys worked so hard, I am really proud of them. I appreciate how hard they all work and don't give up. We just weren't going to take a DNF tonight, we didn't care if we were 100 laps down, we were going to finish. We gained four spots and every spot and every point counts. It is tough, we are on such a roller coaster right now. One week we run really good and the next weekend, something happens. We just need to be a little more consistent but it hard to get that consistency when you have nights like we did tonight. No fault of anyone's, just cut down a right front."

Kyle Krisiloff, No. 15 ditech.com Silverado, Qualified 32nd, Finished 33rd:
"It was a long day. We made a lot of good changes, we just couldn't get it as good as Charlotte and Atlanta. We have a good package to run better than we did. These trucks run better at places like this, but we go to my favorite track next week, where we also run well, so I am really looking forward to Michigan."
