Seventh Place Finish for Dennis Setzer in Shell ROTELLA T No. 85 Silverado Lands Him Solidly in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Top-10 Point Standings

Although Dennis Setzer headed to Lowe's Motor Speedway for the sixth race of the 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) 25-race season looking to take a trip to victory lane, the hard work he and the team put forth got the No. 85 Shell ROTELLA T Silverado a very solid seventh place finish. Equally as important, Setzer is continuing his methodical climb in the standings, now sitting eighth in the order.

"It wasn't the night we wanted because we always want to win," said Setzer. "The day of open testing on Thursday helped us learn a great deal about the new track surface and the tire, but that still doesn't tell you how it is going to race after dark with 35 other trucks.

"The guys worked hard and we had a pretty good truck under us and we're trying to get something better and better every week, we'll just see what happens from here. You know, we just have to keep edging at it and edging at it. It was just a tough night for us, we really wanted to run better than this at our home track with our Shell ROTELLA T Silverado."

Starting eighth in the order, Setzer was visible in the top-15 for the majority of the 134-lap/200-mile race but it wasn't until some final adjustments on a late race caution really gave the Newton, NC veteran driver what he needed to move up in the field. As the final laps clicked off, Setzer moved forward in the field.

Setzer concluded by saying, "The competition in the NCTS is so tough, once you are running in the top 10 to 12 trucks, getting to them is one thing, passing is another. All in all, we are pretty pleased with the run, just always want to do better."

The next event on tap for Setzer and the No. 85 Morgan-Dollar Motorsports Silverado team is the May 27, 2006 City of Mansfield 250 at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway, Ohio.

An open practice day is on tap for Thursday, May 25 followed by race practice and qualifying on Friday, May 26 beginning at 11:30 a.m. EDT.

The race start is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. SPEED TV, MRN Radio and XM Satellite Radio will provide live broadcast coverage of the race.
