TODD BODINE, Germain Racing, No. 9 Lumber Liquidators Tundra: How was your night? "In the beginning, I had some patience on some lapped trucks, I had all the patience I could take to get around them. My Tundra was pretty decent. We got tight on the long runs. At the end there, I was running hard with Terry (Cook). I was a little faster than him, and slipped in turns one and two, and slipped and got up high and lost some ground. With five laps to go I wans't going to make it up. Another good night for Germain Racing; I was third and Teddy (Musgrave) was fourth. That's how you win championships. If you don't have the best truck, you just finish up there the best you can, and that's what we did. Basically, we started last because we came in on that first stop to adjust the truck because it was terrible, terrible loose. We came in an adjusted it and started last and came back to third. It was a good night."
How was the track? "It's typical of new asphalt. It's pretty much one groove. Turns one and two are not bad on the outside, you can run outside there. Turns three and four, it really takes off on you. If you get out into the second groove in turns one and two it will take off on you. It's going to take a while to get it broken in. Any new race track is that way. You have to wear the outside out before the bottom comes in."
TED MUSGRAVE, Germain Racing, No. 9 Team ASE/Germain Toyota Tundra: How was your night? "We came here not knowing what this race track or tire would do. We never made any long runs. We were just so tight all night long, I really couldn't do a whole lot. But, we had a good call in the pits with no tires. That let us get some positions because it was so hard to pass. It got me up there and let me try to work on Kyle (Busch), but he was just so awesome. He was in a league by himself. After a few laps I got tight and Terry Cook got by me. It's a good points race tonight for Germain; a third and fourth again. Never been out of the top-four this year, so far."
