  • This is Toyota's third season, and 55th race, in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS).
  • Toyota Tundras have now won 16 NCTS races since the beginning of the 2004 Craftsman Truck Series.
  • This is Todd Bodine's 9th NCTS win in the No. 30 Germain Racing Tundra. He also won 5 races last year and 2 races in 2004.
  • Other drivers who have registered wins driving Tundras include Mike Skinner (2 wins), Travis Kvapil (2 wins), David Reutimann (1 win), David Starr (1) and Brandon Whitt (1 win).
  • David Starr captured the checkered flag in the most recent race at Martinsville Speedway, April 1.
  • Todd Bodine scored Toyota's first NCTS win of 2006 at Atlanta. Bodine had five wins last season and two wins in 2004.
  • Toyota Tundras have won 20 NCTS poles since the 2004 Craftsman Truck Series. Mike Skinner had a series-high seven pole positions a year ago, and two poles in 2004.
  • Other Tundra pole winners include David Reutimann (5 poles), Bill Lester (2 poles), Brandon Whitt (2 poles), Todd Bodine (1 pole), and Travis Kvapil (1 pole).

TODD BODINE, Germain Racing, No. 9 Lumber Liquidators Tundra
"We were definitely great on long runs. I knew I had a good truck and I was just trying to get good restarts without making a mistake. I knew we had a shot at him (David). This is why we wanted Teddy on the team, he's such a great driver and he has so much experience. He knew what to do at the end, I didn't have to worry about him when we were one-two at the end. I knew if he got a run on me I was going to let him go - we'd still finish one-two. That's what it's about for this team. These trucks work as one team. It showed up tonight. Great trucks and great pit stops. Both trucks were close in set-up. There was one slight difference, which is why my truck was probably better on long runs. For never working together, Teddy is doing a fantastic job.

TED MUSGRAVE, Germain Racing, No. 9 Team ASE/Germain Toyota Tundra
"I talked with Todd on the radio at the end and we talked about what we were going to do to get by David. Todd was just a tick better than me and I couldn't get him at the end. It was another top-5 for me and another win for Germain - so a really good night again. Although, I really wish I could have had my third win here."

DAVID REUTIMANN, Darrell Waltrip Motorsports, No. 17 Team Tundra Racing Toyota
"In my rookie year, I would have blocked and I would've been in the fence to keep those guys behind me. I've matured a lot and I'm racing smarter. We're looking at the big picture. Those guys (Todd Bodine and Ted Musgrave) were faster than me and we just let them go. At one point, I had a glimmer of hope that I could keep them behind me. I'm proud of my guys for taking a truck that was awful tight and they turned it into something a whole lot better. It was a good night for us and an awesome night for Toyota. I would like to congratulate them on another Craftsman Truck Series win."
