• David Starr led once for 121 laps to win the WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race Award in the Kroger 250. Starr started 15th and won the race, his fourth win in 144 career starts.
• Starr claimed his first WIX Filters Lap Leader Award of the 2006 season.
