NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Jack Sprague is used to competing every weekend to be the top driver on the race track and put his No. 60 Con-Way Toyota in victory lane.

This weekend, Sprague will take a backseat and watch some other professional drivers showcase their talents as they compete for top honors in the third annual Con-Way Southern Express Driving, Forklift and Mechanics Competition at the Con-Way Southern Express Service Center in Norcross, Ga.

The event, which will be held on Sunday, March 26, features 56 professional drivers competing in a driving skills challenge. There also will be 28 drivers in the forklift competition and 10 mechanics vying for the top spot in the mechanic category.

More than 800 people are expected to attend the competition, including Con-Way's most visible driver - Sprague. Sprague and the No. 60 Con-Way Toyota team currently sits sixth in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points standings after two fifth-place finishes in three races so far this season.

"It's pretty cool to be associated with a company like Con-Way that focuses on the skills and safety required to be a professional driver every single day of the year," Sprague said. "I think it will be fun to go to Georgia for the competition this weekend.

"Normally, all the eyes are on me competing in the No. 60 Con-Way Toyota on the race track. I'm pretty excited to be a spectator this weekend and get to watch some other professional's show-off their driving talents."

Sprague will get back behind the wheel of his No. 60 Con-Way Toyota at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway for the Kroger 250 on Saturday, April 1. The green flag waves at 3:15 p.m. and the race can be seen on SPEED or heard on MRN or XM Satellite Radio.
