Scott Lagasse Jr. will make his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start this Friday in the John Deere 200 on the 1.54 mile quad-oval at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Lagasse Jr. started 34th and finished 30th in his first foray into NCTS competition at California Speedway. Lagasse Jr.'s team will utilize the BHR chassis "Angel" at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Scott Lagasse Jr.'s impressions on his first NCTS race and what his team has done to make changes for Atlanta:  "I have always heard you are only as good as your last race. I sure am glad California is behind us. It was a tough race for the BHR camp and other Dodge trucks. I was really impressed with how quick the whole BHR team went to work. I walked into the shop Monday morning and Bobby Hamilton already had a game plan on how he was getting our Dodge trucks more competitive. We spent a lot of time in the wind tunnel and have found what caused us so much trouble in California.  Bobby Hamilton is a racer and an owner. Bobby Hamilton, Jr., Timothy Peters and I are lucky to have him because he not only sees how the trucks run, but he feels how they run. After the race I went and talked with Bobby and told him what I struggled with and he experienced the same thing. It was cool to have your owner say 'I know exactly what you mean.' I guarantee you that the entire BHR team is motivated and determined heading into Atlanta. Don't be surprised if you see one of our trucks in victory lane."

Weekend off, he has never heard of such a thing:  "I would race every day of the week if I could. This past weekend was an off week for the truck series so I went to Georgia and ran my dirt car. It was a lot of fun. I did not have the success I was looking for, but it was fun to go and just race with no pressure. I flew home to Florida on Wednesday after the California race and worked night and day to get the car ready. I am lucky to have all my buddies back at home who don't mind helping out. We loaded up Saturday morning and headed to the track. During practice a piece of debris from another car flew into my radiator. We had to thrash to get another radiator in before the race. I had to start in the back and was on my way to the front when a car got turned right in front of me and I had no where to go. I was disappointed, but it was still a fun weekend at the track. I hope to get to do that on most of my off weekends this season."

Crew Chief Randy Seals on Atlanta Motor Speedway:  "Atlanta is a really fast race track and it makes you stay on top of your game. Tires are essential to being competitive throughout the course of the race. You do not want to get off sequence with the leaders because they will kill you on new tires. Atlanta is a down force track and I am confident BHR has their stuff turned around since California. We went back to the drawing board and found out what made us struggle in California and fixed it. I was really impressed with Scott Lagasse Jr. at California. We missed the setup by a mile and he was able to hang on to the truck and get the best finish he could. I would have really expected him to wreck with how bad it was handling. I am looking forward to going to Atlanta to see what we can do."
