Harley-Davidson Motor Company returned this year to sponsor activities of the 37th NAACP Image Awards, celebrating the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in literature, television, motion pictures and recording arts.
Joined by his diverse corporate management team at the Image Awards Luncheon, Harley-Davidson President & CEO Jim McCaslin, praised all the nominees and special guests during the luncheon for their accomplishments.
"Last year, when Harley-Davidson was invited to participate in the nominee luncheon, we felt this would be a great opportunity to represent our company to this distinguished audience and celebrate all the outstanding achievements," McCaslin said in his address.
At last week's taping of award's show at the Shrine Auditorium, the motor company issued leather jackets to nominees and NAACP Image Award special guests as a token of its appreciation.
"In addition to your efforts in the civil rights arena, you continue to foster positive images through the NAACP Image Awards. This work is important in helping all Americans continue to honor and recognize the talents and creativity of individuals like those who are among us today," McCaslin added.
The luncheon was co-hosted by "Entertainment Tonight" host Kevin Frazier and UPN "Girlfriends" Tracee Ellis-Ross. The 37th NAACP Image Awards aired on Friday, March 3rd on FOX Television.
