Germain Racing and iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations today announced their partnership for the upcoming 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season opener, the GM Flex-Fuel 250, at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 17th. iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, a leader in PC-based auto racing simulations, will be the primary sponsor on the No. 30 Germain Racing Toyota Tundra driven by Todd Bodine.

With the assistance of Fenway Sports Group, Germain Racing owners Bob, Rick, and Steve Germain, along with iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations owners John Henry and Dave Kaemmer, finalized the sponsorship as the team prepared to depart for Daytona.

"We are thrilled to have iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations on board with us in Daytona and look forward to helping them introduce their product to race fans," said owner of Germain Racing Bob Germain. "Over the past few weeks Rick, Steve, and I have had an opportunity to see the future of simracing and we are excited with the technology and the product that iRacing.com will be bringing to market."

A collaboration of Dave Kaemmer, co-founder of Papyrus Racing Games, and John Henry, principal owner of the Boston Red Sox, iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations is currently developing the world's most advanced, most comprehensive PC-based auto racing simulations. Similar in sophistication and real-world accuracy to the software programs that car designers and race engineers use to build and prepare winning racing cars, the iRacing.com simulations will faithfully replicate, down the finest detail, the experience of wheel-to-wheel racing.

"Some of the best drivers and engineers in the world have a hand in developing the iRacing.com simulations," said Brett Roubinek, Vice President of Marketing at iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations. "It seems only fitting that one of the best driver-team combinations in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series should help us introduce iRacing.com and the sport of simracing to racers and race fans around the world."

Simracing, the growing sport of real-time, online racing, is in its infancy. In addition to providing the most sophisticated simulations the sport has ever seen, the heart of iRacing.com is an official sanctioning body, offering professional administration and organization to help grow the sport. In addition to stock cars, the simulations now under development at iRacing.com will allow "simracers" to compete in formula cars like the Skip Barber R/T 2000 plus sports cars and USAC midgets, sprints and Silver Crown cars. Race tracks will include Daytona International Speedway, Silverstone, Lime Rock Park, Stafford Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen International and many others.

Dave Kaemmer and the iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations staff are no strangers to the world of NASCAR, as the key members of the team came to iRacing.com from Papyrus Design Group, the development company responsible for award winning titles such as NASCAR Racing 2003 Season.

"We are pleased to see iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations sponsor Todd Bodine and the No. 30 Germain Racing Toyota Tundra at Daytona," said Pat Wall, NASCAR Truck Series Program Manager for TRD U.S.A. "We welcome them to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series."

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring a new sponsor to our sport," said No. 30 iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations Tundra driver Todd Bodine. "iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations brings a cutting edge technology to our sport and to our fans. They can experience the thrill of being in a race car through iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations technology. I am looking forward to driving the No. 30 iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations Toyota in this weekend's, GM Flex-Fuel 250 at Daytona International Speedway."

iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations would like to extend an invitation to Todd Bodine fans and racing fans everywhere to visit iRacing.com and learn more about "simracing" and the future of PC-based auto racing simulations.
