RoadLoans is a proud sponsor of the FDNY Racing/Jim Rosenblum Racing team truck in NASCAR's Craftsman Truck Series at Daytona International Speedway.

In a salute to firefighters in New York and across the country, RoadLoans, a leading online direct-to-consumer auto lender proudly announces its sponsorship of the FDNY Racing Team truck at Daytona International Speedway.

RoadLoans is the primary sponsor for the #28 FDNY Racing Chevrolet that will compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event on February 17, 2006 at the famed Daytona International Speedway.  Jim Rosenblum Racing established the FDNY Racing team to honor and support the men and women firefighters who selflessly serve their community in New York and whose community spirit and involvement represent the dedication of all uniformed service personnel throughout the United States.

"We're deeply honored to team with FDNY Racing to recognize the heroism of New York City firefighters and firefighters across the nation," said Chris Goodman, senior vice president and managing director, RoadLoans.  "By sponsoring the FDNY Racing team truck at Daytona we hope to bring more awareness for the contributions these brave men and women make as they serve us on a daily basis."

Racing veteran, Carl Long will be behind the wheel of the #28 FDNY Racing/RoadLoans Chevrolet when it runs Daytona in memory of three fallen New York City firefighters who died in two separate blazes on January 23, as well as four additional firefighters who were injured in those fires.  As a New York native, Rosenblum and the entire race team strive to bring awareness to the sacrifices firefighters make and encourage people to contribute to the Uniformed Firefighters Association (UFA) as well as the HERO's Fund launched by The NY Post to help families of these firefighters.

"We're pleased to welcome RoadLoans as a sponsor and are encouraged by the additional opportunity to show our appreciation and bring attention to the sacrifices these brave firefighters make in serving their community," said Jim Rosenblum, team owner, FDNY Racing Team.

"As a RoadLoans customer I'm not surprised that the company is stepping up to support New York City firefighters," said Kenny Cook, Engine 152.  "From the time I inquired about becoming a RoadLoans customer in 2002 through today, RoadLoans has demonstrated it is a company that takes care of its customers delivering a great and easy experience every step of the way. I am impressed by the efforts FDNY Racing team and RoadLoans are making to support members of our firefighting family.  It definitely makes me proud to be associated with winning teams on both fronts."
