2004 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion Bobby Hamilton joins racing expert Liz Allison on 1045 The Zone's "Driver Zone" radio show Monday, February 13 as a co-host for the NASCAR season. As a champion driver and owner of the Bobby Hamilton Racing Team, Hamilton brings his own working knowledge of the NASCAR world and a quick-witted perspective to the show.

The "Driver's Zone" (10am-11am Mondays) debuted on 1045 The Zone January 30 with Liz Allison, who has been hosting racing features on the station since 2003. "I am thrilled to be sharing co-hosting duties with Bobby this year," says Allison, " I have known him for almost twenty years and have the upmost respect for him as a driver but more importantly as a person. Bobby has a way of explaining things that only a driver can do. With his hands-on approach and his candidness, the Zone listeners will get the best a race show can offer."

"This is going to be a lot of fun for me," Bobby Hamilton said. "I've already been thinking about things I want to talk about. This is a great way for me to reach out to race fans and give them a driver/owner perspective. I'm racing in each of these Craftsman Truck Series races and in the garage area each week, so I'll be giving play by plays on behind the scenes things at the race tracks. Liz and I work really well together and I have a lot of respect for her, especially her outlook on racing. So the Zone listeners need to tune in to our show, it's going to be informative, controversial, opinionated and especially fun."
