CLR Racing crew chief Joey "Jive" Cudmore, today announced that Brandon Whitt will be the driver of the #57 CLR Ford Taurus for the ARCA 200 at Daytona on February 11th.

"Its great to have a wheel man like Brandon in our car. His success in the truck series proves that he can get the job done. We've got a great car and great power supplied to us by Joe Rhyne. We expect that a successful run at Daytona will prove to up and coming racers that CLR Racing is the right place for driver development and that Brandon Whitt is a top driving candidate for any ride in any series," said Cudmore.

CLR has had a strong history at Daytona & Talladega: 2 poles and 3 top fives in their last 3 starts at the 2.5 mile super speedways. Joey "Jive" expects the runs to continue. At CLR Racing we've got all of the elements we need. Our crew has been together for years; a full time engineer to assist with data and driver development; great engines and equipment. I've been in racing for thirty years and this team has the best combination of people, knowledge and experience.

Driver development has been the teams strength. Last year we ran with three different rookies in ARCA. Two finished in the top 12 and one finished 18th in their first speedway starts! At the end of 2005 we entered a rookie in two NASCAR Truck Series race and started 28th each time.
