DARELL WALTRIP, Darrell Waltrip Motorsports, No. 12 Toyota Tundra:
"It's good to know we're going to be in the race. David (Reutimann) went out first and was a little loose in qualifying, so we made a quick adjustment on my air pressure -- and I was way too tight. I couldn't get back on the gas. Earlier today I ran a .93 at the end of our practice on a qualifying run. So, I'm disappointed about my qualifying run, but I'll race good."
What are the keys to having a good race? "One of them was to have a good pit selection. I'm going to have to think of a couple others -- I'm going to be able to see everybody and know where the wrecks are, and maybe I can miss them that way. That will be helpful -- and no one will run into me from the back."
How does it feel racing one more time? "We've had a great day. We ran over 100 laps in practice. Just being out here and hanging out and working has been good. I hate starting that far back -- but if the tires don't fall off we'll be OK."
JACK SPRAGUE, Wyler Racing, No. 60 Jeff Wyler Tundra:
How was qualifying? "It was ugly. I couldn't turn. It was tight. I didn't expect it to be that way. If it drives like it did earlier today -- which I'm sure it will in the race -- the key is going to be to not get in trouble and be hooked up all day long."
How has the transition been to the new team? "It's been a lot of fun. We've had two tests and today -- and other than those two qualifying laps today, we've been really fast. I'm excited. It's been a lot of fun. I drove Tony Furr's (No. 60 crew chief) Late Model car about 15 years ago, and I ran the Cup car with him a few years back."
