Can You Talk About the Last Few Laps and Being Passed by Ted Musgrave? "I was worried. I messed up so bad and I let Teddy (Musgrave) get on me. I had a little breakaway and I messed up, and he got right up on me. He got me loose and then got by me. I finished second here last year and was not going to finish second againe. Our Tundra was just incredible. The longer it ran -- the stronger it got. It was an unbelievable truck. I want to thank Mike, Sr. (Hillman, team manager) and Mike, Jr. (Hillman, crew chief) -- and this crew they put together has got to be the best in Craftsman Truck Series history. They are awesome."
"Everybody gets lucky once in a while. Our Tundra was just so good -- it was good on the inside, and it was good on the outside. I really messed up and let Teddy get by me. I had a little bit of a lead and went down into Turn 3 and got sideways -- he (Teddy) run right up by me. I finished second here last year. We had a dominant truck then -- and I wasn't going to let that happen again. This is about the sixth or seventh green-white-checkered ending I've been involved with -- and it's pretty fun. A little nervewracking, but fun and we'll take it."
"I was pretty mad at myself for letting Teddy get me. It was a matter of doing the right things and making the right moves to get back by him."
How Did you Pass Ted Musgrave? "I spent that whole caution thinking of different scenarios and what was going to happen. I really didn't know what was going to happen. Teddy was so good. But, I knew when I got behind him my Tundra would tighten-up enough where I could get some grip. He just got down there and slipped and I drove it to the outside and it stuck. Our Tundra was just incredible."
How will you celebrate? "We're going to celebrate big tonight. Last time we won at Kansas City (July 2) we didn't really celebrate. We all went home and went back to work. That's what this team is about, but I'm going to make sure they celebrate tonight."
