In a continuing effort to support Talladega Superspeedway President Grant Lynch's call to racing community for support of the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina relief effort, a new website has been launched today by Talladega Superspeedway at www.racefanshelp.com.
In addition to the new Race Fans Help website, each ISC-owned track, along with the company's merchandising subsidiary Americrown, will now have a direct link on their respective websites to the American Red Cross to assist the Talladega Superspeedway Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
"As we continue to build on Talladega Superspeedway's call to support those in need, the ability to donate through the internet gives race fans additional ways to show the support as one big racing family," said Michigan International Speedway President Brett Shelton, who is leading the company-wide Hurricane relief effort on behalf of ISC. "We would encourage race fans to visit www.racefanshelp.com and prove yet again why race fans are some of the most passionate and giving fans of any sport."

As previously announced, beginning at Richmond International Raceway and its Chevy Rock & Roll 400 weekend (Sept. 8-10), ISC-owned tracks will begin facilitating the collection of monetary donations from race fans to the Red Cross in support of the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
Remaining ISC event weekends where fans can donate to the relief fund at track include:
- Richmond: Sept 10th weekend
- Talladedga Superspeedway: Oct. 1st weekend
- Kansas Speedway: Oct. 7th weekend
- Martinsville Speedway: Oct. 21st weeken
- Phoenix: Nov. 11th weekend
- Homestead-Miami: Nov. 18th weekend
Yesterday, ISC's corporate office located in Daytona Beach, Fla., committed $1 million in funding and services to jump start the initiative. Funding and services include monetary donations and clothing from ISC's merchandising subsidiary Americrown.
