Pressley Tests No. 59 Dodge at Atlanta Motor Speedway

Robert Pressley tested his No. 59 HT Motorsports truck today gathering as much information as possible for the upcoming EasyCare Vehicle Service Contracts 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on October 29, 2005.

Pressley tested two trucks today starting around 10:30 a.m. The first truck is painted red and is the same truck the team ran in March during the World Financial Group 200. The second truck, just in primer paint, is brand new and has never been raced. Pressley's best lap in the red truck was 31.85 seconds (174.006 mph) and the primer truck ran a 31.72-second lap (174.779 mph).

"The track hasn't changed one bit," said Pressley. "This should be better racing than ever because the track has aged one more year and Goodyear is bringing a harder tire. This is one of the only tracks where the trucks can run four-wide and every driver loves coming to Atlanta Motor Speedway for that reason. You can run from the top to the bottom and it is one of the toughest tracks to dial in a set up because you have four different grooves to set up for."

Great seats are still available for the Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500 weekend through the Atlanta Motor Speedway ticket office at 770-946-4211 or via www.ticketmaster.com.
