Fans will have the opportunity to purchase the new 2006 NASCAR Pets Calendar at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend and also attend a special calendar launch autograph session featuring two of the NEXTEL Cup Series' top drivers.
From 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (local time) Friday, Aug. 5, in the Plaza Area at the track, fans can get their calendars autographed by NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series superstars Greg Biffle (driver of the No. 16 National Guard Ford) and Ryan Newman (driver of the No. 12 Alltel Dodge), who are both featured in the calendar along with their pets. The drivers will only be available to autograph calendars. The 2006 NASCAR Pets Calendar will be sold at all Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) retail locations during race weekend. The sales price of the calendar is $13.99.
Proceeds from the NASCAR Pets Calendar benefit both the Greg Biffle Foundation and the Hamilton County (Ind.) Humane Society. Fans also can purchase the 2006 NASCAR Pets Calendar by visiting www.NASCAR.com or www.thegregbifflefoundation.com.
