Germain Racing Keeps Focus on Truck Series

Germain Racing announces the formation of a new ownership structure as well as a new team name and logo.  Formerly known as Germain / Arnold Racing, the team fields the No. 9 and No. 30 Toyota Tundra's in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.  Effective immediately the team will run under the banner of Germain Racing.

The new ownership structure and new team name comes as a result of the departure of Don Arnold from the organization.  Arnold was co-owner of Germain / Arnold Racing organization but has left to focus his attention on his Nextel Cup Series operation which fields the No. 50 DODGE in the top series of NASCAR.  The teams new name reflects the departure of Don Arnold from the organization.

"Without the original direction of Don Arnold - the Germain's might not have had the opportunity to begin racing at the NASCAR level," said Bob Germain.  "He remains a good friend of the Germain family and we wish him the best of luck in his own racing pursuits with his Nextel Cup program.  At this time Germain Racing is totally committed to getting the job done for Toyota in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series."

This name and ownership change has changed nothing with the race operations of the organization which are led by Mike Hillman, Sr.  In fact, the team has posted a win (Kansas) and a second place finish in two out of their last three races.

Germain Racing also announces the launch of a new team website - www.germainracing.com  The new site reflects the new team logo as well as pertinent information on the team and its drivers.
