  • This is Toyota's 2nd season -- and 33nd race --- in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCTS).
  • A Toyota Tundra has captured the checkered flag 4 times in 32 NCTS races.
  • Todd Bodine (California & Texas, '04) and Travis Kvapil (Michigan & New Hampshire, '04) each have two wins driving Tundras.
  • This is David Reutimann's best finish (5th) this season, as well as his first top-five of 2005.  Reutimann's previous best finish this year was a 12th-place at Daytona.
  • This is Mike Skinner's 3rd top-10 (10th ) this season.  Skinner's best finish this year is a 4th-place at St. Louis -- his only top-5 of 2005.
  • Johnny Benson's best finish this year is a 4th-place at Charlotte.  He has 1 top-5 and 2 top-10s this season.
  • Todd Bodine's best finish this year is a 3rd-place at Daytona.  He has 2 top-5 and 3 top-10s this season.
  • Chad Chaffin's best finish this year is a 5th-place at Martinsville.  He has 1 top-5 and 3 top-10s in 2005.
  • Robert Huffman's best finish this year is a 9th-place at California.  He has 2 top-10s this season.
  • Bill Lester's best finish this year is a 6th-place at Charlotte. It marked the best finish of his NCTS career.
  • Brandon Whitt's best finish this season is a 15th-place at Atlanta.

5th, DAVID REUTIMANN, Darrell Waltrip Motorsports, No. 17 NTN Bearings Tundra,  "Jason Overstreet (crew chief) made some great calls in the pits -- and that's what this race came down to.  We were a top-10 truck and if the yellows would have fell a little differently, we might have won -- and that's why you take a gamble.  We just ran out of tires at the end.  DW got on the radio and told me; 'We haven't really had a good year this year -- lets just go ahead and get a good finish.'  We haven't had much to cheer about this season.'  What happened on the final restart when you were leading the field? "Kyle Busch and I raced together at Nemco for a little while, and he's on 'kill' whenever he leaves pit road.  He's not racing for points -- and I don't think he would have wrecked me - but I didn't want to take any chances and mess around and let everone else catch me.  And, then Tony (Stewart) went by too - and I guess I'm not the first guy that Stewart's passed.  We'll take this and we've got a good truck to take to Texas next week, and we'll see what we can get."

10th, MIKE SKINNER, Bill Davis Racing, No. 5 Toyota Tundra,  "If you look at our finishes, we should probably be pleased with a top-10.  But, this is probably one of our worst performances that we've had.  My race team did an awesome job on pit road, but we just missed it somewhere today.   I don't know if it was in the shock package or I don't know if something broke.  I don't really know what it was.  The Toyota motor ran awesome and nothing fell off.  This is one of our worst performance this year -- and sad to say it's one of our better finishes."
