Chad On Dover:
Chad is the defending champion of the Craftsman Truck Series race at Dover as he captured his first series victory at the 1-mile concrete oval last year.

"Dover is a tough track and is appropriately named the Monster Mile. I really like to race on challenging tracks and I think that frame of mind has helped me with some solid runs at Dover. The concrete surface tracks can pose a few challenges at times but I always look forward to running on them as I feel they were built for my style of racing. I am obviously looking forward to returning to the track as the defending race winner and being a contender again this year with our Toyota Tundra."

Dover Win Last Year:

"Obviously your first win at the NASCAR level is something very special that you will never forget. Dover is a monster and much like a place such as Darlington it is something special when you win there - even more so for the first time. I had the feeling last year that we were getting pretty close to capturing a win and things just fell into place for us at Dover. We had a solid truck right off the trailer and were fast the whole week - then things went our way which you need to happen to win at this level. I have some of that same feeling this year with my Germain / Arnold Racing team. Our Toyota Tundra has been fast every week and we have put ourselves in position to win - but we just have not had things go our way yet. Maybe this is the week for the second year in a row - boy that would be nice."

Wrong Place At The Wrong Time:

"We have been in the wrong place at the wrong time all year with our Toyota Tundra. We have been strong all season so far and as a team we have felt like we are a serious contender to win everywhere we go. But we have just had terrible luck and been in the wrong place at the wrong time. But I am not discouraged; actually I am excited about the races that are coming up here in the next month or so. I know I have a strong team and Toyota Tundra; and before long things will turn around and we will be in the right place at the right time. This kind of reminds me of last year where we had gotten caught up in someone else's mess at Mansfield and Lowe's - just like we have this year - then we came to Dover with another strong truck and things fell our way and turned our season around. Maybe Dover is that magical place for me."

Career at Dover:

Chad will be making his sixth career start at the "Monster Mile". Along with three starts at the 1-mile track in the NASCAR Busch Series, he has two previous starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He has finished seventh and first in those two career Craftsman Truck Series starts with his first career win in the series coming last year at the track. He has led a total of 59 laps in competition at Dover.
