Atlanta Preview (Casey Atwood):
"In the past I have run good at Atlanta.  It is a racetrack that I really like, so I am looking forward to racing there with this Bailey's Dodge team. The truck we had at California should be just right for Atlanta.  It has a lot of down force which helps at Atlanta because there is so much corner there and you run so hard into them. I think we will be in really good shape with this particular chassis. I've had some success at Atlanta Motor Speedway and have led some laps there, so anytime you have success at a certain track it gives you some confidence going into a race there. I appreciate the opportunity that Bobby Hamilton has given me to run these first three races, it means a lot to me. Bobby Hamilton has been a big influence on me in my career and I have learned a lot from him."

Just one more race (Timothy Peters, who will make his first NCTS start in Martinsville):
"I have spent the last two races up on the spotter's stand trying to learn and observe as much as I can. Casey Atwood has done a tremendous job in the Bailey's Dodge; he has a lot of experience and you can tell by watching him. After this race at Atlanta, the pressure will be on me to do as well or better than Casey has done. I'm really looking forward to my first race at Martinsville, but I will admit I am nervous.  I really want to do a good job and failing is my worst fear. I am my own worst critic but having said all that, I can't wait to get behind the wheel."  

Specifically what have you learned over the first two races (Timothy Peters):
"One thing that I have learned is that you don't need to jeopardize your equipment early in the race. You don't have to run the first lap like it is the last lap of the race. These races are long races and you want to be around at the end. I also try to learn by watching Bobby Hamilton as much as I can.  He is amazing. To watch Bobby run these past two races has been a real learning experience for me."

Notes:

• Atwood will be making his fourth career NCTS start in the World Financial Group 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
• Atwood hopes to return the BHR chassis "Beavis" to Victory Lane this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway.  Bobby Hamilton won with this chassis at Atlanta in 2004 and Darlington in 2003.
• Ironically Atwood has had a longer NCTS career than his owner Bobby Hamilton. Atwood made his first career NCTS at Nashville in a BHR entry on August 31, 1996, just six days after his 16th birthday. Hamilton made his first NCTS start on September 21, 1996.
• Atwood will be making his 8th career start at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Friday. He has started four NASCAR Busch Series races at AMS. Atwood led 28 laps in his first NBS start at Atlanta in 1998 before posting his best Atlanta Busch Series finish, 11th, in that very event.  He has made three NASCAR Cup Series starts with a best finish of 20th in Ray Evernham's Dodge in (2001).
• Atwood has earned $200,065 in NASCAR competition at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

On the performance of Casey Atwood (Crew chief Randy Seals):
"Casey Atwood has done everything we have asked him to do and more. He has us in the top ten in points, we would be even further up in the top ten if it wasn't for that last lap wreck at Daytona. Casey has taken this Bailey's Dodge and really stepped up for us and all of us appreciate his efforts. He has been real easy to work with and he communicates well. We are going to take the same truck (Beavis) to Atlanta that we raced in California. He really liked it there. We are going to use the same front-end geometry we had at California but we are going to start out with same springs that Bobby Hamilton had in it when he won at Atlanta last year."

On switching drivers after Atlanta (Randy Seals):
"As pleased as I am with the job that Casey has done I am really excited about the chance to work with Timothy Peters. Even though we haven't seen him in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition I know he is good, because if Bobby Hamilton picked him to drive this truck he must have some talent. Bobby doesn't make to many mistakes in choosing drivers."
