Harmon, Posey and Tolbert Bring Energy and Experience
Track officials announced today the additions of Kacy Harmon as Guest Services Supervisor, Kristen Posey as Advertising and Promotions Manager, and Brett Tolbert as Business Development Manager.
Harmon, from St. Louis, is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Communications. After stints with the St. Louis Cardinals, Gateway Grizzlies and Ozark Mountain Ducks, he will oversee the day-to-day sales and supervision of the track's ticket office.
Posey, a lifelong Memphian, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Graphic Design from the University of Alabama. Most recently the Promotion Specialist and Development Officer for the Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association (MIFA), she will be responsible for coordinating major event media plans and creating unique promotional programs designed to enhance ticket sales.
Tolbert comes to the track from Dallas and the Texas Rangers baseball team, with a double major in Business and Psychology from Bucknell University. He will be responsible for generating sales of group tickets, hospitality, suites, expo spots and program ad options.
Major events on the 2005 schedule at Memphis Motorsports Park include the Super Chevy Show, April 15-17; the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, June 3-4; the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O'Reilly 200 "under the lights," July 23; the NHRA O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals, Aug. 19-21; and the NASCAR Busch Series Sam's Town 250, Oct. 21-22.
