Bobby Hamilton Racing announces sponsorship with Bailey's Cigarettes as the primary sponsor on two trucks from the BHR stable for the 2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. The current NCTS Champion's No. 4 Dodge will adorn the logos from Bailey's as a primary sponsor for 12 races. Rookie Timothy Peters will drive the No. 04 Dodge for Bailey's for 11 races. And Nashville, Tennessee native Casey Atwood will also drive the No. 04 Dodge with Bailey's as a primary sponsor for three events this season.

"After talking with the Mac Bailey only a couple of times, I realized they were a great fit for my company," Hamilton said. "I like that he has a small family-run company, and they perform all aspects of the business from growing, to producing, to selling their products…much like we do here at BHR. Their reputation is outstanding and we like to be associated with such companies.

"BHR has been looking for young drivers that fit the mold of our operation," Hamilton continued. "Timothy Peters did a test for us in the off season and really showed talent. He has a lot of potential to make great things happen in this sport and for our team. We are trying to align ourselves with young talent as we did with Chase Montgomery and we see this three-team operation as a success."

Hamilton will pilot the No. 4 Bailey's Dodge in the following events for 2005: California, Atlanta, Martinsville, Charlotte, Kentucky, Memphis, Nashville, Bristol, Richmond, Martinsville, Atlanta and Homestead. Peters is slated to drive the No. 04 Bailey's Dodge in the following 11 events: Martinsville, Gateway, Charlotte, Dover, Kentucky Memphis, Nashville, Bristol, Richmond, Martinsville, Atlanta and Homestead. Bailey's will be the primary sponsor on the No. 04 Dodge for Daytona, California and Atlanta with Hamilton's protégé Casey Atwood behind the wheel.

"Our company saw the NCTS as an avenue to reach a whole new adult market for us," said Mac Bailey, CEO of Bailey's. "We have been in racing for many years in several different series, but never at this level. The NCTS has tremendous fan support and is a great fit for Bailey's cigarettes. We look forward to working with Bobby Hamilton, a champion in the sport, and with Timothy Peters, who we are bringing up from our Bailey's Late Model Stock Division Team. I am a big race fan and have been all my life. I see many great things for our company through this association with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and Bobby Hamilton Racing."
