Rovak Takes Over Ticket Sales; Calbaugh and McClain Lead Season Ticket Charge

Memphis Motorsports Park is ringing in the New Year with three new faces. Track officials announced today the additions of Don Rovak as the new Director of Ticket Sales and Operations, and Josh Calbaugh and Shay McClain as Corporate Account Executives in Ticket Sales.
Rovak is originally from St. Louis and has worked with the Memphis Redbirds since 1998 in several positions, including Director of Stadium Operations and Director of Ticket Sales. At Memphis Motorsports Park, he will continue his innovative approach to sales in an ongoing effort to promote the track's NASCAR and NHRA headline events in June, July, August and October.

Calbaugh and McClain will bolster those efforts in season and group ticket sales. Both are graduates of Game Face, an international training and career placement company considered a leader in the sports marketing and sports jobs industry.
Calbaugh is a native of Dayton, Tenn., and earned his degree in Leisure Services (sports management) with a minor in Business Management from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn.
McClain, from Ann Arbor, Mich., is a graduate of Miami University (OH), where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Sports Studies. She joins the track after a two-year internship with the Michigan International Speedway.

Track officials also announced that Pam Kendrick has been promoted to Director of Administration.
The 2005 season at Memphis Motorsports Park gets underway Saturday, Feb. 19, with the first Test-N-Tune session on the championship drag strip.
Major events on the schedule include the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, June 3-4; the O'Reilly 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series "under the lights," July 23; the NHRA O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals, Aug. 19-21; and the Sam's Town 250 NASCAR Busch Series, Oct. 21-22.
