SPEED Channel's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Debut: Great Race, Strong Ratings
The debut of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on SPEED Channel was a ratings success. SPEED's 1.03 household rating (576,000 HH) for the Florida Dodge Dealers 250 on Feb. 14 was the highest Daytona rating received by the NASCAR Craftsman Trucks since the series first ran at the famed speedway in 2000.

Carl Edwards Reflects On His First Race At Daytona
The season opener for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series last Friday was a day of firsts for Carl Edwards. Not only was it the first truck race of the 2003 season, but it was also his first race with Roush Racing and his first race at Daytona International Speedway. The 23-year-old Columbia, Mo., native made quite a debut at the famed 2.5-mile oval. Although he finished 24th, he drafted with the leaders much of the race and even led a few laps himself.

After starting the race in the 23rd position, Bonifield was striving for a top 15 finish.
