NASCAR announced today that it will revise the qualifying procedure for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' inaugural Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway on Saturday, July 31, with a multi-truck session on the 2.5-mile track.

The anticipation of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series arriving at Pocono Raceway has been building for over 10 months and for good reason. The Pocono Mountains 125 will mark the final track on the current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule on which the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has not competed, and the shortest in laps on an oval, with 50.

When the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series rolls into Pocono Raceway for its inaugural race Saturday (1 p.m. ET live on SPEED; NCWTS Setup with Krista Voda at 12:30 p.m. ET), a few of the drivers already may have a leg up on the competition before they even hit the track.

Friday evening, Dillon showed he could get his way around Pocono Raceway, as his No. 3 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet Silverado was the fastest truck during the final Happy Hour round of practice for Saturday’s Pocono Mountains 125 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Dillon had a best lap of 161.461 miles per hour, putting him atop the speed charts.

Elliott Sadler waited until the final moment to bump Kasey Kahne off the pole for Saturday's inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Pocono Raceway. Sadler, making one of his select Truck starts this season for Kevin Harvick Inc., beat out his Sprint Cup Series teammate for his first ever Truck pole.
