The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series marches into Atlanta Motor Speedway Saturday afternoon for the E-Z-GO 200, the 22nd of 25 rounds in the NCTS title fight. And once again, look for heavyweights Johnny Benson and Ron Hornaday Jr. to be slugging it out at the end. Benson gained the upper hand last Saturday at Martinsville Speedway, where Hornaday led the first 154 of 200 laps in his Camping World No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado, only to run out of gas at the end, while running second to Benson's No. 23 Toyota Certified Used Vehicles Tundra. That dropped Hornaday to 29th in the final rundown and handed Benson a 65-point lead, after he'd finished behind Hornaday in four consecutive races.

Ryan Newman passed his Kevin Harvick Inc. teammate Ron Hornaday Jr. on the final lap to score his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory in the E-Z-G0 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Hornaday led the most laps on the day and cut into the points lead of Johnny Benson with three races to go on the 2008 season. Newman fought off a furious charge by Hornaday over the final two laps to score an impressive victory over his teammate. Newman had taken the lead with eight laps to go, before Hornaday passed him on the race's penultimate lap. But Newman made the high-line work for him as he went around Hornaday on the final lap to win the race.

Rain washed out all activities Friday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, cancelling the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Craftsman Truck Series qualifying. Both Saturday's E-Z-GO 200 Craftsman Truck race and Sunday's Pep Boys Auto 500 Sprint Cup race will be lined up according to owner points. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams have one practice scheduled for Saturday, from 9-10:20 AM ET. The 33 trucks entered in the E-Z-GO 200 take the green flag at 1:30 PM ET live on SPEED.
