Diary of a Champion: Teamwork
There’s something to be said for teamwork in this industry and sticking together during hard times. It’s what our sport is all about. And my team showed that more than ever this year at Bristol. They never gave up from the start of the race to the very end, and because of that, we fought back and ended up with a pretty decent finish. We may not have ended up on top, but everyone was proud of the effort they put in to help me get another top-10 after it was all said and done. (David Vaughn Photo)

Dennis Setzer Fast Facts: Loudon
“New Hampshire is a great track. I personally like it because its like a large Martinsville. I have always been able to run well here, and the race in 2000 which was my worst finish was a race where I felt that I had the best truck. Our one-mile (track) program has been pretty good so far this year and we sure could use a good finish to go with a good run.”
Sprague No. 16 Chevrolet Fast Facts: Loudon
“I am really excited about heading back New Hampshire. It has been a great track for me, I love that it is a driver’s track. Being virtually flat, it is a very technical track and corner entry speed is critical to setting up passes. Track position is key so having great pit stops keeps the whole team on their game the entire race."
Carl Edwards New Hampshire Truck Fast Facts
"I had so much fun racing at New Hampshire last year. Jimmy Spencer and I had an awesome battle for the win and I ended up coming out on the bad end of that one although I still finished second."
Jon Wood New Hampshire Fast Facts
"We should have had a top-five finish at New Hampshire last year, but I got rooted out of the way during that last restart with 16 laps to go. I fell back to ninth and couldn't work my way up any higher before the race ended."
Terry Cook has Confidence Going to Louden
“Knowing you’re going to a racetrack like New Hampshire that you’ve won in the past that does give you confidence going there. Our racing program is a lot better on track this second half than the first. I always enjoy going to New Hampshire; the track and the race."

Chaffin Going Back to the Basics for Loudon
“New Hampshire will be a strong track for Bobby Hamilton Racing. I am looking forwarded to going there and getting our top-10 streak back. I qualified seventh there last year and finished sixth. I think we can easily repeat that, hopefully we can beat it."

Starr Ready for Another Good Run at NHIS
"New Hampshire has been good track for us in the past," says Starr, who has two consecutive top ten finishes; an 8th last year and a 3rd in 2002. "It is a unique track due to the flat corners. To do well, you need a good handling truck -- one that cuts good in the center and has good forward bite off the corners."
Kvapil Hoping for Some Magic at Mile Track
It’s a fun, flat, one-mile track. Loudon’s kind of like a short track in that it has a lot of characteristics similar to a Milwaukee or St. Louis, and I’ve always run well at that type of race track.

Crafton Utilizing Milwaukee to Master Loudon
Two of the biggest things NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCTS) teams take advantage of throughout a season are test dates and racetracks that resemble each other. In August, Kevin Harvick, Inc.'s (KHI) No. 6 GM Goodwrench Truck series racing team took advantage of both at the same time.
Points Battle Heats Up as Trucks Head North to Loudon
The 2004 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship battle heads into this week with the outcome every bit as clouded as a year ago. In 2003, the title was decided on the last lap of the final race and the same scenario could happen this year. Next up is Saturday’s SYLVANIA 200 presented by Lowe’s at New Hampshire International Speedway. Eight different drivers in as many years have won at the 1.058-mile flat oval, but only two of those winners – Ron Hornaday Jr. in 1996 and Jack Sprague (No. 16 Chevy Trucks Chevrolet) in 2001 – have gone on to win the championship. Three-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Jack Sprague took top honors in Bud Pole Qualifying for Saturday's Sylvania 200 at New Hampshire International Speedway. He has won five Bud Pole Awards and started from the pole at Mansfield based on the rule book after rain cancelled qualifying. Sprague turned a fast lap of 29.637 on the flat 1.058-mile oval, which translates to 128.515 miles per hour. With cool temperatures for the start of qualifying, and with times nearing the track record in practice, some were expecting a new record to be set in time trials, and Sprague delivered, beating the previous record set by Jason Leffler in 2002 by two hundredths of a second. The track seemed to get much slicker after the two-hour practice session for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series cars.

Kvapil Wins Rain Delayed Sylvania 200
Travis Kvapil stalked Jamie McMurray for 30 laps and made a power move to the inside on a late race restart to take the lead and the win in the Sylvania 200 presented by Lowe’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at New Hampshire International Speedway on Saturday. Kvapil, whose team has been embroiled in numerous rumors over the course of the past six weeks, gave Toyota it’s second win of the 2004 season. The start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Sylvania 200 would be delayed due to the rain. The race was delayed for a little more than four hours. Setzer Building Momentum with Good Run at Loudon
Dennis Setzer had earned four top-five finishes in five races at the “Magic Mile” coming into this weekend’s Sylvania 200. Kvapil Comes Out on Top in Loudon
Travis Kvapil is certain his second trip to victory lane this season at the Sylvania 200 will mirror the remnants of Hurricane Ivan hovering over New Hampshire International Speedway and wash away any doubts about Bang Racing’s potential success and future goals. Diary of a Champion: Beating the Odds
After my disappointing week at Richmond, I couldn’t wait to get to Loudon. I knew my Bang Racing team was going to have a good truck up there. We had had really good runs at places like Milwaukee, St. Louis and IRP and were taking a truck with a very similar set up to what we ran at those tracks. So everyone on my Line-X team was confident that we were going to have a strong run. And I had a really good feeling going into the race and was looking forward to redeeming ourselves from our poor finish the week before. (David Vaughn Photo)
