Sauter Family Patriarch Entered in Milwaukee Truck Event
In celebration of Father’s Day, NASCAR Busch Series driver Johnny Sauter has a special gift in mind for his dad Jim. He’s fielding a truck for him to race in the “Black Cat® Fireworks 200” at The Milwaukee Mile on Friday night, June 25. Although it’s not the typical flannel shirt or necktie that most dads will receive on Sunday, it’s the perfect way for Johnny to show how much he appreciates all that his dad has done for him while growing up in Necedah, WI. Jimmy Spencer Subbing for Houston in Milwaukee
Look for Berwick, Pennsylvania native Jimmy Spencer behind the wheel of the No. 2 Team ASE/CARQUEST Dodge at Milwaukee on Friday. The plan is for Spencer to sub for Andy Houston at the Milwaukee truck event only. Spencer has three career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts, all with Ultra Motorsports in 2003 who also fields the No. 1 MOPAR Dodge driven by Ted Musgrave. Spencer won from the pole last year in Loudon and finished outside the Top-5 at Richmond and the fall Martinsville event.
The Milwaukee Mile NASCAR Weekend Schedule Of Events
NASCAR Notes: Milwaukee
Milwaukee Mile bids for record winning streak … The Milwaukee Mile and Texas Motor Speedway have produced record runs of nine consecutive different winners. The difference is that the latter track’s streak ended in 2002 and Milwaukee could see a 10th different winner this week, thus breaking the deadlock. Milwaukee is one of just five tracks to have hosted a NASCAR Craftsman Truck race in all 10 seasons.
Flat-Tracker Terry Cook Wants Back on Top in Milwaukee
Based on his recent NASCAR Camping World Truck Series record at The Milwaukee Mile, this could be the week Terry Cook (No. 10 Power Stroke Diesel by International Ford) returns to top form. Cook will be the first to welcome the change. It’s been a miserable month for the Ohio native leading into Friday’s Black Cat Fireworks 200, the series’ 10th visit to the Milwaukee area and first event under the lights at State Fair Park.

Musgrave Takes Top Spot in Milwaukee Qualifying
Ted Musgrave pulled one out of the hat and stuck the No. 1 Mopar Dodge on the pole position for tonight's Black Cat 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at The Milwaukee Mile. Musgrave picked up over a quarter of a second from practice to take the pole with a lap of 29.513 seconds/121.980 miles per hour on the tricky, flat one-mile oval. (High Sierra Photo)

Musgrave Trucks to Popular Home Track Win
The streak of nine different faces in victory lane following the previous nine races at the Milwaukee Mile came to an end Friday night as Ted Musgrave scored a popular victory Friday night in the "Black Cat® Fireworks 200" NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. The former Franklin, WI resident started from the pole position and used a combination of pit strategy and determination to collect $71,885, including an $18,000 bonus from series sponsor Craftsman for wining from the first starting position. “We had the power of the people behind us tonight," beamed the ecstatic Musgrave following the extremely popular victory. After spending many years competing on the Wisconsin short tracks before heading south to race in NASCAR, Musgrave has become a fan favorite with the Milwaukee Mile fans. (High Sierra Photo)

Chevrolet Post-Race Report: MILWAUKEE
Dennis Setzer, No. 46 Chevrolet Silverado (Started 12th Finished 3rd):
“It was a good run for us because we weren’t that good at the beginning but Danny (Gill, crew chief) and the Silverado guys made great adjustments and we kept getting better as the race went along. We knew that Ted (Musgrave) was strong and if he could get through traffic he would be fast so we hoped there weren’t any more yellows but that isn’t how it played out...

Cook Earns Top-10 in Milwaukee
Terry Cook and the Ford Power Stroke Diesel by International Racing team showed once again he is a pro at The Milwaukee Mile with a seventh-place finish in Friday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event. Cook slowly worked his way into the top 10 in the second half of the event after starting 19th. The Sylvania, Ohio native matched his finish from last year as he heads into next weekend's event at Kansas Speedway.

Handling Woes Relegate Spencer To 16th Place Finish At Milwaukee
Jimmy Spencer's Team ASE/CARQUEST Dodge showed some promise during the middle stages of the Black Cat 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at the Milwaukee Mile on Friday night. Spencer climbed into the top ten by the halfway mark and seemed poised to claim a solid finish. Unfortunately for the Berwick, PA native, his truck was more than just a tick tight in the closing stages of the event and Spencer was relegated to a 16th place finish.
First Major NASCAR Victory Continues to Elude Hmiel
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Driver Shane Hmiel went to Milwaukee hoping to keep the momentum going after the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports second place finish at Memphis Motorsports Park the week prior. Hmiel was poised to bring home a 3rd place finish when he was spun in the final laps of the Black Cat Fireworks 200 at The Milwaukee Mile on Friday night.
Musgrave, Ultra Motorsports 'R' Back
Ted Musgrave and his crew didn’t exactly plan the strategy but an extra pit stop proved to be the difference in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory in the Black Cat Fireworks 200 at The Milwaukee Mile. Musgrave’s Ultra Motorsports crew chief Gene Nead knew when caution flew on the 127th lap that the Mopar Dodge didn’t have sufficient fuel to go the distance. So Nead pitted Musgrave, who went from race leader to 18th on the restart – but with tires nearly 30 laps newer than his rivals. Trailing race leader Dennis Setzer by two seconds when he finally moved around Travis Kvapil with 14 laps remaining, Musgrave appeared destined to finish in the runnerup position for the second time in three races. Truck Series Race Notes: MILWAUKEE
Ted Musgrave was smiling late Friday night, perhaps for the first time since his close – and bitter – loss of the 2003 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway. And five finishes of 12th or worse to start the current season hadn’t exactly improved Musgrave’s mood.
